 Julius Caesar 


  1. Julius Caesar was a dictator of Rome for ten years he fought against the Gauls. 

  2. But when he returned Pompey oppressed him. He checked property in Egypt – where he was murdered. 

  3. Caesar returned to Rome in triumph. 

  4. The Romans were glad to make holidays. 

  5. They came out with their lost clothes to clear Caesar.

  6. It was the feast of Dupercal also, 

  7. But those who loved Pompey were not happy. 

  8. Flavius and Marcellus were one among them They chased the citizens from the street. 

  9. Caesar came accompanied by his wife Calpurnia, Anthony and others. 

  10. Brutus and Caesar remained behind. 

  11. Caesar tells how Caesar refused the crown offered by Anthony and how Cassius fell into a swoon. 

  12. On the other hand, Cassius was happy that he had poisoned his mind of Brutus against Caesar. 

  13. Then a terrible storm trust opens in the city. it was not an ordinary storm / the storm was looked upon as a bad men. 

  14. The hands of the common slaves were trusted like torches, yet the hands remained untruth. 

  15. Caesar met a lion, but the animal let him pose.

  17. Cicero and casseius met in the strret. they discussed the strange things in nature. 

  18. Cicero understood the said, “The distributed sky is not to walk in”. 

  19. Casio interpreted all these as instruments of fear. 

  20. Bruits lamented the high ambition of Caesar. They had no personal grievance against him. All he wanted was the welfare of from. He just wanted that come should be free from the tyranny of Caesar. 

  21. The conspirations Cassius, Casca, Decius Cinna, Metellus, Cinbor and Trebonies come to meet Brutus. They asked Brutus to join the conspiracy. 

  22. When Brutus returns to his chamber, Portia his wife complains of his strange behaviour. 

  23. She tells him, “ Can I bear that with Patience And not my husband's secret? 

  24. Brutus consented to tell everything. But at the moment Rigahius comes. 

  25. Meanwhile, Calphurnia had a horrible dream. She cried in her sleep, “Help ! They murder Caesar”. 

  26. In her dream, she saw the statue of Caesar like a fountain spouting blood. 

  27. The priests were called. They asked Caesar not to go out with the omens provided in an auspicious. 

  28. So Caesar was asked to stay at home. 

  29. But Decius interpreted it in a different way. 

  30. He said, “ it was a lucky vision” And that “your statue spouting blood in which so many smiling Romans Gathered. 

  31. Caesar refuses to stay at home, On the way, Arteni Days and soothsayers requested him not to go. 

  32. But Caesar turned a deep bar to all the warnings. He entered the state tall and took his seat. 

  33. The conspirators were near him. 

  34. Tiberius and Antony were away.

  35. Mettillus climber came forward, asking him to call back his brothers. 

  36. Caesar refuses to call back his brother.

  37. The conspirator came closer. Brutus took the hand of Caesar and kissed it. 

  38. Caesar resisted. But when he saw Brutus with the conspirator the said, “You too Brutus, then fall Caesar”. 

  39. He made no further resistance and he fell dead. 

  40. The conspirator cried, “ Liberty freedom Tyranny is dead.

  41. Then Brutus Cassius and others address the crowd they gave reasons for going against Caesar.

  42. Brutus tells them, “ Romans countrymen and loves ‘ Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more, he was ambitious, I slow him. 

  43. The crowd agreed with Brutus. 

  44. Antony in his speech clears that Caesar was not ambitious. he brought the captain home, “ Did he see ambitions”.

  45. He continued “Ambition must be made of stern sluts.” Yet Brutus says he was ambitious. And Brutus is an honourable man. 

  46. After every two or three statements Antony repeats – “And Brutus is an honourable man”. 

  47. The citizens became wild they would not have any of the conspirators. They do not have any conspirators They met Cinna the poet and because his name was similar to the conspirators, they slow him – “tear him to peace . He is a conspirator”... 

  48. Then the triumvirs, Antony, Octavius, Julius Caesar’s nephew and heir Lepidus, all met in a council. They drew up a list of those who were to be put dead. 

  49. On the other side, Cassius complained that he was received coldly Pindarus was also happy. Brutus condemned Lucius Pilla for taking bribes. Brutus accused Cassius of corruption.

  50. Both quarrelled, but then easily shrewdly brought the quarrel to an end. 

  51. Brutus told him about the death of Portia. Then they pledged for mature friendship and discussed their plans for the future. 

  52. Cassius proposed to stay back. But Brutus insisted to march and meet the enemies. So they decided to start the next day. 

  53. That night Brutus asked Lucius to play some music, but he soon fell asleep with the instrument in his hand. 

  54. They appeared the ghost of Caesar appeared and challenged him, that they would meet at Philips. There he disappeared. 

  55. Octavius and Antony were by discussing the probable action of the enemy. 

  56. The enemies met at Philips, and Cassius was distributed by the bad omens that he saw. But he had the courage to face it bravely. 

  57. Brutus and Cassius decided that if they defected, they would commit suicide. 

  58. The battle began, but Brutus made a mistake the gave his soldiers the order to fight early.

  59. Titinius and Pindarus were sent to find out from above the hile. 

  60. Pindarus reported that Titinius was made captive by the enemies. 

  61. Cassius was ashamed and he stabbed himself.

  62. The battle continued studied bravely.

  63. Lucius disguised himself as Brutus. He was made captive by the enemies. 

  64. Defeated, Brutus appealed to Cliffs Dardanius and Voluminues to put his life to an end, But they refused. 

  65. Then he asked the state to hold the sword. He ran on it and died. 

  66. He died with the words, “Caesar now be still I killed not the with help so good a will….” 

  67. Octavius and Antony appeared. Antony paid tribute to Brutus he said that Brutus was of ideal nature.
